Been ages since I’ve done a WP overview video. Hashed out a quick one here (12 minutes) if you need a quick refresher on what’s where. We’ve been building more and more WordPress tutorials over at WordPress U. It’s a work in progress, but it’s getting there.
New features, improvements:
- Theme: 2012 Theme: homepage template options, responsive design, nice typefaces, etc.
- Welcome: simplified welcome screen (yay!)
- Media: upload/insert Media workflow revamped, more options, easier (more familiar) interface
- Plugins: browse and install plugins you’ve checked as favorites on WordPress.org, right from your dashboard
- Mobile publishing: variety of mobile apps helps you publish from a variety of phones, browsers, etc.
