A handy template that lists all of your posts by date.

This is a great page to show a simple list of all posts since the beginning of the site in a list sorted by year. It’s a very helpful overview for a new visitor to the site to give them an idea of how long the site has been around, how often new posts are published as well as an easy-to-search archive.

If you’re a writer, it’s a nice place to send a potential editor or publisher to give them an idea of the quantity of your work.

The Timeline template is different from the Archives template and the Sitemap template in that those templates show also pages and categories etc. The timeline is only posts.

I haven’t bothered, but I’m sure with a little CSS styling love, this could be a really cool looking timeline.
