An archive of posts (not pages) by recent 30 days, by category and by month.

This page template shows only posts in different ways:

  • The Last 30 Posts
  • Categories
  • Monthly Archives

Whereas the Timeline template shows only a long list of posts by year, now we get the posts also by category and by month. I never really see the value of the “Monthly Archives” except for the count of how many were published on a regular basis. If you’re looking for an archive that shows also pages, try the Sitemap template.
