Looking to start with a blank child theme for Canvas but don’t know where to look?
Yeah, I didn’t either. I found a child theme called Fresh Canvas a few years ago and have been using that for years now, but even that had some code and images in it if I remember correctly. So I stripped it completely clean and now it’s empty, ready, and blank. Introducing Clean Canvas, a WOO Themes Canvas Child Theme.
[box type=”tick”]Features? None! It’s completely empty! [/box]
Why a child theme? There are tons of reasons to use a child theme for a framework like Canvas and just about zero reasons not to.
Please back up your WordPress installation, database and files before you add any new theme or make changes to your site.
[…] Clean Canvas, a WOO Canvas Child Theme (Aug 28) […]
Hi Bradley,
I’m wondering if there is a way to have a completely blank woo canvas page, no header, navigation, sidebars or footer.
I’m using Live Composer for my site content creation: http://codecanyon.net/item/live-composer-frontend-wordpress-page-builder/6594028
At present I use the ultimatum framework to create my template pages and then add content via LC. I’m no developer/coder just your average graphic designer, but would like to try and ease my worpdress workflow and certainly the woo canvas backend for clients is a lot more intuiative compared to Ultimatum.
Any advice greatly appreciated!
Kind regards
Darron
