Camille Mojica Rey’s Spirit Makeover was a perfect candidate for a WOO Canvas site. She wanted to have control of colors, fonts, even layouts. She wanted to add sliders, portfolios, and a blog. She even has controls right there in the WP admin for the background color of the navigation bar. We’re using Google Web Fonts to match her logo font and colors. She has access to shortcodes that can do lots of styling niceties and tabbed widgets to show off her latest and greatest posts from her blog.
Wait a sec. Who wouldn’t want all of these features in a WordPress theme?
Canvas has so many features packed under the hood, it’s been hard to not use it lately. Clients ask me if this or that other theme has this or that feature and I have to say, “Oh yeah, that one. Yeah, that’s a good one. No, sorry, it doesn’t.” Show me a design and I’ll build it in Canvas. Bring on some other theme and we’ll skin it the Canvas way.
We did widgetize the WOO Canvas Header so that now she can put in there whatever widgets she’d like to drag in there. We also snuck a search bar into the main navigation so it’s easy to find. Easy trick just adding some code into the functions.php file.
She’s thrilled, we’re thrilled. Check out Spirit Makeover.

Bradley is the opposite.” I have worked with many consultants and find that in most cases, their goal is to keep knowledge to themselves and create dependence. Bradley is the opposite. Curry Senior Center Not bad at all: nice images, lots of content, good navigation. Hard to beat, but with WOO Canvas and Slider Pro, it sure makes the job easier. Widgetizing the WOO Canvas Header A widget up in the right side of the header in WOO Canvas would be nice. Here’s how to set that up. Warren Law Firm The Bradley, Lauren, and Gil Trio of Triumph are at it again with another crispy clean (did someone say Krispy Kreme?) site with style and targeted content. Woo!
