We had a nice, kinda-custom built WordPress site for David Dylan Thomas’ personal site. It worked well for years–and years. But Dave knows WordPress and knows it well enough to hand him a friendly-to-use theme like StudioPress’s Genesis Framework and let him out of the starting gates. With these premium themes, you’re more able to customize a theme without touching a line of code. They have a WordPress admin interface that allows you to change layout (even on a per-page basis), fonts, styles, and color schemes. All just with a few clicks. Check out what Dave’s done with the place over at daviddylanthomas.com.
