HIP Investor needed a site to promote their new company. They needed to update content often (WordPress), send out newsletters (Vertical Response), and make sure people could easily subscribe to new content (FeedBurner).
A swarm of volunteers took over this site and added hundreds of items for sale (titles, descriptions, prices, categories, etc.) and the site grew and grew. The event was a huge success.
